Mopping

I mop with white vinegar and dish soap. I have laminate and tile floors and this works great.

NOTE on the dish soap: Detergents have been a pain in my rear. I have tried so many natural brands. I have made detergents using several different recipes (another note: I HATE borax). I just can't find anything I'm happy with. Either it's expensive or just doesn't work (usually it's the later). I'm still working on getting my natural detergent on, for now, this will have to do.

Another NOTE: Don't mix vinegar with castille soap (Dr. Bronner's). Click here for why (this is an external link to a blog by a member of the Bronner family).

I live in a small house. I don't have to travel far to mop the whole house, so I just mix it in the sink and don't use a bucket. But obviously, if you use a bucket, just mix in your bucket. Add a few drops of dish soap (you don't need much) to hot water.

Add a lot of vinegar. I add a couple cups.

Now mop.
