Cleaning Your Coffee Pot

If you have an electric coffee pot (most of us do), you can't exactly throw it in the dishwasher. I wash the filter in the dishwasher. And I'll scrub the pot occasionally. But honestly, that doesn't happen as often as it should (and don't lie, you don't do it enough either). So I run vinegar through the brew cycle once every week or two.

Pour straight vinegar where you normally put water. Fill it up.

Press start.

After it finishes the cycle, pour it out.

Now run the cycle again with just water.
