I bought all of this over the last few days at Drug Emporium, The Cupboard, and Target.
From left to right:
- Carlson's Cod Liver Oil in lemon flavor. The Moose & I both take it. Not only is it full of all kinds of vitamins and antioxidants, it is great for weight loss.
- Aloe Vera Juice. Hydrates from within. I am a big believer of hydrating inside out. It helps with sun protection (so do all the antioxidants I mention), makes you look glowy and dewy, and is just good for you. Aloe juice also helps with digestion. I take a big sip daily and The Moose gets a spoonful in a bottle of goat's milk.
- Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda. I call this my cosmetic baking soda. I use this for my deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, & to exfoliate in my natural skincare routine. (I don't use this to clean, I use the cheap stuff.) See why I use Bob's here.
- Gaia Black Elderberry Syrup. Elderberry is an actual berry packed full of all kinds of antioxidants and vitamins. Really, a lot of them. It is an excellent immune booster. It's great to fight allergies, the flu, common colds, and more. I will mix it in with my yogurt or take a little sip a couple times a week. It is really tasty! I mix it in The Moose's homemade baby food a couple times a week.
- Cayenne Pepper. I love my morning detox drink! Lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, cayenne, and water.
- The Moose's Goat Yogurt.
- White vinegar. I clean everything with this and use it as my fabric softener in my washing machine.
- Witch Hazel. I use this for The Moose's wipe solution for his cloth diapers.
- Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. The best vinegar! I use this for my hair conditioner, as a toner in my skincare, mix it in my face mask, and use it in my morning detox drink.
- Nutiva Coconut Oil. Where do I begin? My love for coconut oil runs deep and true. Oil pulling, eye makeup remover, body lotion, deodorant, skincare, and toothpaste. I cook with it, make baby food with it, use it as a coffee creamer (not often, but sometimes), ice cream topping, make teething biscuits, and just eat it by the spoonful.
- Arm & Hammer Baking Soda. This is my cleaning baking soda.
- Lots of bulk spices. On my long list of things to tell you about is to breakdown my favorite spices and the health benefits of each. Eat lots of herbs and spices! They are so good for you.
- I went to the library and found more info on essential oils! My peppermint oil for a belly ache worked so well, I can't wait to learn more.
