Farmers Market Salad with Spicy Lemon Basil Vinaigrette

I had a ton of assorted veggies from my CSA. CSA stands for community supported agriculture. You prepay for the season and you get a weekly share of the farm's harvest. I'm a volunteer. So I volunteer a few hours a week with the farm and get my share for free.

Here's my share this week. I also have some of the share from last week leftover. So time to make a big salad!

Everything but the Parmesan, olive oil, and vinegar is from my farm.
  • Sunflower Greens (like a sprout that you eat raw)
  • Radishes
  • Arugula
  • Tomatoes
  • Lemon Basil
  • Parmesan
  • Chinese 5 Color Peppers

I chopped off the radish greens and saved them for later.

Chop the arugula and sunflower greens.

Chop the tomatoes. I quartered the large ones and halved the small ones.

Chop the radishes.

Now for the yummy dressing! Chop the peppers and lemon basil.

Mix the peppers, basil, and 3 tbsp each of apple cider vinegar, honey, and olive oil. Sweet, spicy, yummy!
