Dinner in Roanoke

We met some friends for dinner at Twisted Root in Roanoke. It was delicious! They use grass fed beef. Their shakes are real cream and eggs and sugar. The shakes are amazing, but I didn't get one last night. They have buffalo meat (which I love, but decided on beef yesterday). I am really not a big fan of burgers because they are too much meat for me. I am not a vegetarian, but I don't eat a ton of meat. Just a taste choice, no statement about animals or anything. But their burgers are very good. I ate the whole thing!

Our friend got a camel burger. Who knew they had camel burgers?! He said it was on the chewy side. He said he doesn't plan on ordering camel again anytime soon.

The Moose took a snack pack with apricots, sunflower greens, and cucumbers.

I got the verde burger with green chili and guacamole. Yummy.

    1. haha! Thanks for reading! I'm actually in Denton. But Roanoke is the standard meeting place for friends that live in Fort Worth.
