Find a Penny, Pick it Up

So I'll let you in on a bit of my nerdiness. I go on walks with The Moose almost daily, about 5-6 times per week. Honestly, to call it walking is generous. I go on very leisurely strolls just to catch up on my podcasts. But the exciting part is I find money almost daily. It seriously amazes me how much I find! No, I don't find $100 bills or anything. But I find loose change most days, at least a penny. And the thing that amazes me is that I'm walking up and down the same streets daily. Today I found $0.13! I track my earnings for the month of July, 2013 here.

I like to let it pile up in the stroller cup holder so I can see the pile expanding. It's always a great day when I find a quarter. I average about $1 / week. I don't do anything with it, it's not like income or anything. It's like going Easter egg hunting everyday.
