This Week's Snack Pack

I haven't shared The Moose's snack pack in awhile, so I thought I would show you the latest one. For more info check out these posts:
Using this method makes it so easy to feed your babe healthy food! It takes about 15 minutes for me to put together and he'll eat on it for about 3 days. Then I just compost what's left and make a new one. He eats his snack packs at night while I'm cooking dinner and when Ryan & I are eating.

Tonight, he got spiced apples, sautéed carrots and squash, sunflower greens, roasted chicken, and cucumbers. The cucumber, squash, and greens are from Cardo's Farm (I am a farm volunteer). Yummy, local, and organic!

And we are testing out dairy! I used butter for the apples, carrots, and squash. He was born allergic to everything. He hasn't had dairy since he was about 1 week old (he is now 11 months). This is the 2nd snack pack I used butter. I'll start adding to the dairy soon (cow cheese, yogurt, etc.). I really need to spend some time finding a local dairy to get fresh, local, raw dairy products!
