Washing Greens

A little tip for you when washing greens (spinach, kale, chard, etc.). I really only do this with spinach from the grocery store. But if you have any greens that are kinda gritty and feel sandy (you know what I mean), rinse them in a colander with ice. The ice is an abrasive and cleans the greens quickly.

Cut your greens:


Rinse with ice:
