Cardo's & Goat Farm, 8/13/13

I volunteered at Cardo's Farm Project this morning. The farm is in the middle of moving locations. Today I helped with the harvest at the old location. They are winding down everything there and this is one of the last harvests at that location. Today I harvested okra and a few peppers.

Since this is the last of the crops on this field, the crops are growing over like crazy! The okra is insane right now! Humongous! The big ones are bad, they get tough, dry, and stringy when they are too big.

After I left Cardo's, I went to pick up The Moose's raw goat milk. He loves visiting his goats!
