Oatmeal Avocado Teething Biscuits

Since The Moose is getting older & needing more substantial food, I wanted to ramp up my teething biscuit recipe. Here's the original recipe. For this batch, I added avocado and rolled oats.

Mix 1 cup brown rice flour & 1 cup rice cereal.

Add 3 tblsp. coconut oil.

Mash in 1 banana and 1 avocado.

Add 1/2 cup rolled oats.

Add 1/4 cup cold water.

The Moose is helping me in the kitchen!

Lightly flour your cutting board.

Roll out your dough.

Cut to size for your child. The dough doesn't rise or change shape while it cooks. So cut it accordingly.

Bake at 425 for about 12 minutes. Turn the biscuits. Cook another 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crunchy.  Store in the freezer.

NOTE: He first started eating these at 7 months. At that time, when he gummed down a piece to something that fit in his mouth, I took it away because he wasn't able to gum / chew it at that time. Now, he is able to gum it down until he chews it and/or it dissolves. So pay attention to your babies and don't give this or any other hard food if you don't feel comfortable about it.
