Quick Tip - Freeze Corn Tortillas

A quick tip. Corn tortillas freeze wonderfully! When I was at the store, all that was left was this big bag of 80 tortillas. I only needed about 10. Luckily, they freeze excellently. I do this sometimes when the big bag is super cheap on sale (I know, tortillas are always cheap, but sometimes they are super cheap).

Pull out what you need.

I keep them in my bread box. The container on top of the bread box is my peppermint extract mixed with grape seed oil. I keep that handy and use it often. Read about it here. I use it for headaches, stomach aches, and congestion.

Freeze the rest. The top shelf there is full of my homemade baby food and teething biscuits. You can also see some frozen raw goat's milk.

When you need to thaw some out, just pull out what you need and let it thaw at room temperature (I put them in my bread box). It they are frozen together, they pull apart easily. If they need a little help, turn the stack on it's side and pry it with a knife. Never waste corn tortillas again! Just freeze what you need!
