The Moose's Goat Yogurt

The Moose loves goat yogurt more than anything. I buy it at Drug Emporium. It's about $5 for this big container. I give it to him every couple days. The only reason I don't give it to him daily is because I want him to like fruit and vegetables without adding yogurt. Other than that, I don't have a problem with him having it daily because I think it's a healthy food choice.

He is allergic to cow dairy. But even if he wasn't, I prefer goat milk for him at this age. Cow dairy proteins are quite large and hard for babies to digest, if they are allergic or not.

I just add a couple spoonfuls into his solid food and mix. That's it. I add it to fruit and vegetables. People have though it's odd I add yogurt to his vegetables, but many cultures (no pun intended!) cook with yogurt and add it to all kinds of food. Greek and Indian are 2 great examples. So I don't mind adding  yogurt to his veggies. It tastes good! I try all of his food.

Here he is feeding himself goat yogurt at 8 months. He is currently 10 months.
