Traveling with your homemade skincare

I am spending the night with my in-laws tonight. So I thought I would share my travel bag for my skincare products. As you saw in this post, I keep my skincare products in containers that aren't travel appropriate. So I save containers from store bought products and reuse them. This was from a spur-of-the moment quick packing. For longer trips, I get a bit more organized and label everything with a sharpie.

All re-purposed containers from store bought products.
From top left: Dr. Bronners, coconut oil & vitamin E, deodorant, argan oil & vitamin E (that's the original bottle), apple cider vinegar, baking soda, toothpaste. Click here for information on what kind of coconut oil to buy. Buy cold-pressed argan oil here.

 That's my baking soda.

I have a cabinet full of empty containers. Different sizes for different amounts of travel times. Lost of choices. And if something leaks or breaks, I just throw it out. I fill the containers when it's time to travel. When I get home, I use up what's in the travel containers, wash in the dishwasher, and add them back to my pile of empty containers.
